5 Days from Fez to Marrakech

Day 1: Fez – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Midelt

Departure in the morning from Fez towards the Middle Atlas. Stop in Ifrane, famous for its Alpine-style architecture, and visit the Azrou cedar forest, home to Barbary monkeys.

We continue to Midelt, located between the Middle and High Atlas, surrounded by mountainous landscapes.

Day 2: Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga

After breakfast, we cross the spectacular Ziz Valley, with panoramic views of palm groves and oases. We pass through Erfoud, known for its fossils, before reaching Merzouga, at the gates of the Sahara Desert.

In the afternoon, we take a camel ride at sunset through the dunes of Erg Chebbi.
Dinner and overnight in a desert camp, with Berber music and a starry sky.

Day 3: Exploration of the Merzouga Desert

After sunrise in the dunes and breakfast, we dedicate the whole day to exploring the desert in a 4×4 vehicle.

We visit:

• Berber nomad villages

• The Hassi Labied oasis

• The village of Khamlia, famous for its Gnawa music

• Black desert landscapes and golden dunes**

Free time in the afternoon to rest or take part in optional activities such as quad biking or buggy rides in the dunes.
Dinner and accommodation in a hotel or camp in Merzouga.

Day 4: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

After breakfast, we depart for Rissani, a traditional commercial center of Tafilalet. We continue to the impressive Todra Gorges, a canyon with vertical walls ideal for walking and photography.

We then proceed to the Dades Valley, famous for its kasbahs and rock formations.
Dinner and accommodation in a charming hotel in the Dades Valley.

Day 5: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas – Marrakech

After breakfast, we travel the Route of a Thousand Kasbahs to Ouarzazate, with a panoramic visit to the Taourirt Kasbah.

We continue to the iconic Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After lunch, we cross the High Atlas via the Tizi n’Tichka pass, enjoying spectacular views, until we reach Marrakech in the afternoon.
