Itinerary:
Day 1: Marrakech – Arrival and Welcome
Arrival in Marrakech, reception at the airport, and transfer to your hotel or riad.
Afternoon free to stroll through the city and enjoy Jemaa el-Fna Square, the traditional souks, and the Majorelle Gardens.
Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 2: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate
Early departure southward crossing the High Atlas via the Tizi n’Tichka pass (2,260 m), with panoramic stops to enjoy the landscape and take photos.
Visit to the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the desert, with the option to visit the Taourirt Kasbah or the film studios.
Dinner and overnight in Ouarzazate.
Day 3: Ouarzazate – Valley of the Roses – Dades Valley
After breakfast, we tour the Valley of the Roses and the Route of the Thousand Kasbahs, passing through Berber villages and natural oases.
Arrival in the Dades Valley, known for its rock formations and natural beauty. Free time to explore the valley and enjoy the surroundings.
Dinner and overnight at a hotel with valley views.
Day 4: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga (Sahara Desert)
After breakfast, visit the Todra Gorges, an impressive canyon ideal for walking and photography.
Continue to Erfoud and arrive in Merzouga, in the heart of the Sahara. In the afternoon, camel ride at sunset through the Erg Chebbi dunes, followed by traditional dinner, Berber music, and overnight in a desert camp.

Day 5: Merzouga – Oasis and Berber Villages
Full day to explore the Merzouga Sahara and its surroundings:
Visit to Berber villages and nomadic communities
Hassi Labied Oasis
Gnawa villages and traditional music
Optional activities such as quad or buggy rides on the dunes
Enjoy the silence and beauty of the desert.
Dinner and overnight at a hotel or camp in Merzouga.
Day 6: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Ifrane – Fez
After sunrise in the dunes and breakfast, begin the journey to Fez, crossing the Ziz Valley, famous for its palm groves and traditional kasbahs.
Stops in Midelt, between the Middle and High Atlas, and in Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco.” Arrival in Fez in the afternoon.
Dinner and overnight in Fez.
Day 7: Fez – Imperial City and Medina
Full day of guided visits in Fez, including:
Medina of Fez el-Bali, a World Heritage site
Bou Inania Madrasa and Al Quaraouiyine University, the oldest in the world
Souks and artisan workshops to discover local life
Afternoon free to explore the city at your own pace.
Dinner and overnight in Fez.
Day 8: Fez – Meknes – Volubilis – Rabat
Departure to Meknes, an imperial city with palaces, walls, and monumental gates. Continue to Volubilis, the best-preserved Roman ruins in Morocco.
Later, arrival in Rabat, the country’s capital, to explore its medina, Hassan Tower, and Mohammed V Mausoleum.
Dinner and overnight in Rabat.
Day 9: Rabat – Casablanca – Marrakech / End of Tour
After breakfast, departure to Casablanca (optional), where you can visit the Hassan II Mosque before returning to Marrakech.
End of the tour and transfer to your accommodation or airport, concluding a complete 9-day journey full of culture, history, and desert adventure.
